The procedure section should describe exactly what you did. It is often clearer to the reader if you include a schematic and/or other figures. Do not refer to the lab handout (on the job you won't be working from a lab handout), and do not copy from it word for word. You should describe things in your own words, referring to the schematic or other figures. You should be consistent in the symbols used for different variables between the theory section, this section, and the results/discussion section. Do not assume the reader is familiar with the experimental equipment. On the basis of reading your report, someone at another location should be construct a similar apparatus and duplicate your experiments.
