You may have noticed that there is no theory section in the report. The manager assumes you are a competent engineer, and doesn't need or want to be bored with a lecture on theory. You will have to incorporate some theoretical aspects into your results/discussion section if you follow the guidelines given here. However, it is always possible that the manager will ask you more detailed questions, and if she/he does, you should be prepared to answer and show off how well you really understand the underlying principles. Thus it is not a bad idea to have some slides prepared "just in case." You shouldn't plan to use these slides unless you are asked a question where they will help you answer. These slides should enable you to describe in detail how one takes the variables you set or controlled and the variables you measured, and calculates all the other information in your presentation.
