Select the Axis to Align

In the Place part window, select the bottom hole of 6 bar angle.

Select 6 bar base to align in the assembly

In the assembly window, select 6 bar base.

Select the aligning axis on 6 bar base 

In the Assembly window, select the bottom hole on 6 bar base.

Step 34

Finish aligning 6 bar angle

On the Place Part SmartStep ribbon bar, click OK

Step 35

Mate 6 bar angle to 6 bar base

On the Place Part SmartStep ribbon bar, in the Relationship type list, click the Mate button.

Use QuickPick to select the planar face on 6 bar angle 

 Position the mouse cursor over the edge of 6 bar angle and wait it change to , and click.

and  the QuickPick tool is displayed. Move the cursor over the different boxes on QuickPick. Use QuickPick to highlight the planar face on the backside of 6 bar angle shown in the illustration, and click to select it.

Step 37

Select 6 bar base to mate in the assembly 

In the assembly window, select 6 bar base.

Select the mating face of 6 bar abse

Use QuickPick to select the front face of 6 bar base, as shown in the illustration.

Finish the Mate command

On the Place Part SmartStep ribbon bar, click OK

Select the move command

On the toolbar on the right side of the screen select Move Part
