This course, and the homepage, is structured after last year's offering of the lab by Professor Carl Lund.  There are two important elements of this course.

  1. Web based material: First, as much as possible of the course will be presented electronically via this web site. Dr. Neelamegham welcomes your feedback, and will give it serious consideration.
  2. Simulated industrial work environment: The course is modeled more like a real job situation instead of an academic laboratory course. We will pretend in this course that

    the students are practicing engineers,

the experiments are real industrial projects,

the instructor is the company manager to whom the practicing engineers (students) report, and

the results of the project will be described in a brief presentation to management and a  detailed written  report.

Use the links at the left to find out about the course (how it will be graded, how it will be run, etc.).
