  • Dissolve into solvent
    • dimethylformamide (DMF)
    • tetrahydrofuran (THF)
    • toluene
    • isopropanol

• DMF is the preferred solvent for in situ production

  • DMF accelerates the urethane-formation rxn

• Lacquers prepared in a two-rxn sequence in a single rxn vessel
