• Tubings are defined as long ,hollow, flexible cylinders to transfer fluids or solids

• Pipes is rigid and larger in size

• The extent of flexibility is important in selecting a tubing material

• Associated of flexibility is kinking

• Kinks are caused by reducing the radius to a point where the tubing wall collapses,
