Step 21

Move Crank in assembly

Now try moving crank freely (as done before) and try

to achieve motion as in .avi file. At this point you will

not be able to achieve same motion of nozzle because

motor is not grounded. Now, let us fix motor with respect

to our ground part.

Step 22

Show reference planes on motor

Go to assembly path finder, right click on motor.par and

click on Show Reference Planes.

Step 23

Mate offset reference planes

Select motor and click on Edit button on the ribbon bar

Now you can add further constraints to motor to fix it.

Click on X-Z plane as shown in figure.

Step 24

Finish mate

Select corresponding reference plane on motor and give

offset value of 125 mm. If you do not get a configuration as

shown in the figure above, select sketch from Relationship

List. Click on flip. Click on ok to finish mate.

Step 25

Perform Second mate

Click on the vertical plane of the motor.

Step 26

Select the ground part and the face as shown in figure

to complete the mate. Give the offset value of 150 mm.

Click on ok to finish the mate command.
