Syllabus ] Grading ] Lab Rules ] Lab Groups ] Schedule ] Pre-Lab ] [ Lab ] Post-Lab ]

An appointment should have been made with the TA to do the lab. Note that there are 14 groups all doing the same experiment. The experiments take three hours to perform. If every group waits until the last day, it will not be possible for the TA to schedule them all. Scheduling will be done on a first come, first served basis. You can schedule your time for doing the lab one week earlier (during the pre-lab week). If the experiment is not done by the due date, points will be deducted from the grade for the written report; ten percent per day late.

By 5:00 PM the same day the experiment is done, NOT THE DUE DATE, the raw experimental data must be submitted electronically. If the experiment concludes after 5:00 PM, the data are due by 9:00 AM the following morning. Each of the sections devoted to the individual experiments describes what to submit and how to do so. Prior to the due date for the data, 5 percent per day will be deducted from the grade for the oral report for each day the data are late. If a group fails to turn in their data by 5:00 PM on the due date they will be penalized 50% on the oral report grade. This is important because other groups beside your own need to make use of your data.
