How do I get my copy of Solid Edge and Dynamic Designer?

An agreement between University at Buffalo and Electronic Data Systems, EDS allows students and faculty to obtain a copy of software Solid Edge V11 for academic use. Students can take home the software and install it on personal systems provided they sign an Academic Single User Agreement. In order to get your copy of Solid Edge and Dynamic Designer, you must do the following.

1.      Print Academic Single User Agreement, fill the form and sign it.

2.      Take the signed form to UB Micro along with a fee of $ 6.43 ($ 5.95 + taxes) to cover the expenses for creating the CD copies. You will also be given the academic password required to install the software. (The CDs will be available immediately after you return from the Labor Day weekend.)

3.      As University at Buffalo has a valid academic license of Solid Edge, you, as a student/faculty of UB, can freely run the full version of Dynamic Designer Motion/Professional. To obtain your free copy of Dynamic Designer, simply click here and the download should start. (Username and Password is the same as used for class notes).

4.      If you are not a student of MAE412, you can go to Adams University Site and fill in the registration page to obtain your free copy of Dynamic Designer.
